Liverpool Set Transfer Fee Ahead Of January For Striker Sought After By Everton, Wolves & Turkish Giants

Liverpool will demand £20 million for striker Divock Origi in January according to the Echo.

Per the source, the Reds are prepared to sell the Belgium international who has failed to make a single appearance this season.

The striker has not been able to win over head coach Jurgen Klopp who has found no use for him so far this term.

The Reds are reportedly expecting Wolves to make an offer for the 23-year-old.

The Premier League newcomers were prepared to pay £22m for the forward back in July but Origi was not set on the move.

It remains to be seen whether Wolves or any other club would be willing to offer a similar fee for a player who has not played a competitive game this campaign.

The report also mentions Everton as considering a move which echoes what the Turkish media have been saying.

Turkish-Football understands that both Besiktas and Galatasaray are also expected to join the race.

Both sides have Origi on their radar and have made it a priority to sign a striker in January.

Liverpool will not receive anything near a £20m bid from the Super Lig sides for the forward.

Both sides are keen on loan deals. The Black Eagles have already signed Loris Karius on a two-year temporary move.
