Caglar Soyuncu could make his Leicester City debut for Arsenal after head coach Claude Puel revealed he may give the young defender a chance.
With Wes Morgan out suspended and Puel left with no logical reason to not include Soyuncu in the matchday squad at the very least we may just see him feature.
The 22-year-old will be thrown in at the deep end if he does make an appearance as Arsenal are in red-hot form after winning their last nine games.
Soyuncu was however, all smiles in team training yesterday.
Puel said: “I think he is ready. He has to compete with experienced players.
“He’s a young player, but a young player with a lot of attributes.”
The Turkey international trained with the first-team and shared a photograph from the Thursday session on his official Instagram account.

The centre-back did not write a caption but the photo tells a thousand words.

Soyuncu has been desperate to break into the team and his beaming smile is perhaps another hint that he has been told he has a chance to get into the matchday side.
The former Freiburg man did start both games for the Turkey national side against Bosnia and Russia over the international break.
Soyuncu has started the last 15th successive games for the Crescent-Stars, more than any other player in the national side over the same time period.
