Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has reportedly had his DM’s deactivated on Instagram by his jealous girlfriend Amine Gulse according to the Hurriyet newspaper.
Per the source, Gulse got fed up with going through Ozil’s direct messages on Instagram to delete unwanted attention.
The playmaker apparently receives so many messages that she decided to shut down the feature entirely instead.
The story does sound a little far-fetched but the newspaper have far more experience reporting on WAGS and magazine stories than we do.
We decided to see if we could still slide into Ozil’s DMs.
Low and behold we could!
The newspaper seems convinced that Gulse is a jealous girlfriend. The report includes the following line: “Amine Gulse’s jealousy knows no ends.”
Anyway, despite rumours of the former Miss World Turkey 2014 being a tad jealous, it does appear she is getting on well with Ozil.
They regular share photographs featuring each other on their social media channels.
Gulse lives in Turkey but regularly visits Ozil in London and he can often be found in Istanbul on his time off.
The Hurriyet also report that Gulse is in the process of moving to London on a permanent basis to be by the side of Ozil.
