Mesut Ozil reveals best young player at Arsenal during Twitter Q&A

It has been a great month of football for Arsenal’s star playmaker Mesut Ozil.

The 29-year-old has re-established himself in his favored no.10 role and was the star of the show during the Gunners win over Leicester City.

Ozil also opted to take part in a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday where he answered questions on everything ranging from his favorite stadium to whether he wants to play in Turkey.

However, one questioned which garnered a lot of interested from Arsenal fans was his opinion on who is the best young player currently in the Gunners’ set-up.

Arsenal has a number of rising stars within the squad, however, without hesitation, Ozil revealed that Matteo Guendouzi is his pick.

Guendouzi arrived at Arsenal over the summer transfer window following a £6 million move from Ligue 1 side FC Lorient.

The young midfielder has already established himself as a key member or Unai Emery’s squad and has started several games for the Gunners this season.

Guendouzi has provided one assist and scored one goal in ten appearances for Arsenal in all competitions.

Mesut Ozil meanwhile has netted four goals and provided one assist in nine games for the Gunners. The 30-year-old can match his goal tally from last season with just one more goal.
