Arsenal will be hoping to extend their winning streak to 12 games against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the London derby on Sunday.

The Premier League encounter will see the Gunners travel south of the river to Selhurst Park.

Star playmaker Mesut Ozil was rested mid-week in the 1-0 victory over Sporting Lisbon and will be match fit against the Eagles.

It would be a surprise to see Ozil not start following his brilliant performance as captain in the 3-1 victory over Leicester City mid-week.

Palace meanwhile are in a poor run of form losing their last three games in the league.

Sky Sports football pundit Paul Merson revealed he is worried for the home side in his match prediction.

Merson made it clear that he does not quite understand how Arsenal are on such an amazing run but does not appear to be won over going by his comments about the upcoming Liverpool game.

Anyway, Merson makes it clear that he expects his former side to open Palace up and that the big problem the home side have is being unable to score.

Merson wrote the following for Sky Sports: “Arsenal are on an amazing run. Against Leicester they could have been 3-0 down at the break but were outstanding in the second half. I do not know how they do it. Arsenal’s big worry is when they play Liverpool next week – I dread to think what that score will be.

They will beat Palace as they will open this game up. Palace cannot score goals. I’m worried for them, they need to start winning games. That pressure is taking its toll on Wilfried Zaha.

PAUL PREDICTS: 1-3 ()”

Ozil has four goals and one assist in nine games for the North London outfit this term and has made the traveling squad.
