Crystal Palace put an end to Arsenal’s 11 game win streak with a 2-2 draw at Selhurst Park in the Premier League.

Mesut Ozil returned to the starting line-up after being rested mid-week in the Europa League against Sporting Lisbon.

Ozil was taken off for Welbeck in the second-half and responded by throwing his gloves to the ground.

Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness ripped into Ozil in a post-match rant about the playmaker of Turkish origin questioning his passion and mocking the substitution incident.

Ozil did not put on his greatest performance but did his display really warrant such a strong response from Souness?

The 30-year-old created one key chance and pulled off an 89 percent pass accuracy.

The Gunners take on Blackpool next in the League Cup followed by Liverpool in the Premier League at the Emirates.

The draw closed the gap with league leaders Liverpool to four points.

Arsenal are currently 4th in the Premier League table and would be able to close the gap with the Reds to just a single point if they beat them next week.
