Leicester City summer signing Caglar Soyuncu has issued his response after a helicopter carrying Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha crashed outside the King Power Stadium.
Srivaddhanaprabha oversaw Leicester City’s recent rise to the Premier League and their title-winning success in 2016.
The Thai business owner signed Soyuncu to the Foxes from Bundesliga side Freiburg for £19 million over the summer.
Soyuncu took to social media on Sunday to express his sadness regarding the weekend’s events. The Turkey international shared a photo of himself embracing Srivaddhanaprabha and included the following caption, “My deepest condolences to his family and friends, and all our fans. RIP #TheBoss.”
