Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on Blackpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.

The north London based club’s winning run over the weekend when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Crystal Palace.

Unai Emery’s side host Blackpool at the Emirates Stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT). The game will not be televised in the UK.

The visitors Blackpool defeated QPR to book their place in the League Cup fourth-round clash.

Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil is available for selection however, manager Unai Emery is expected to rotate his starting eleven.

Ozil failed to impress over the weekend and cut a frustrated figure when he was substituted off with 20 minutes left to play.

Emery did, however, insist aster the game that he has no issue with the former Germany international showing his frustrations at being substituted.

Meanwhile, Hector Bellerin will be rested after suffering muscular pains. Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac as also injury doubts going into the mid-week fixture.

In positive injury news, Laurent Koscielny has returned to full training after his Achilles injury. The former France international is however unlikely to feature against Blackpool.
