Liverpool News: Galatasaray Confident Reds Will Not Receive £20m Offer For Outcast, Prepared To Wait To Try Clinch Transfer Deal – Sources

Liverpool outcast Divock Origi has been closely linked with a January exit after failing to make an appearance for the senior side this season.

The Echo reported that the Reds are prepared to part ways with Origi but are demanding £20m for his transfer in January.

The report goes onto state that Liverpool are expecting Wolves to make an offer and that Everton are preparing a move.

Turkish-Football previously reported that Besiktas and Galatasaray are also interested in the Belgium international.

A source close to Galatasaray has since revealed to Turkish-Football that Origi remains on their shortlist.

The Lions are not however, prepared to match the Reds valuation and are confident that the Premier League outfit will not receive a £20m bid.

Galatasaray are prepared to wait until the end of the transfer window for their loan offer to be considered.

The Istanbul based outfit are of the view that Liverpool will be prepared to loan Origi if an offer not matching their asking price is made.

Galatasaray have made signing a striker a priority in January. The Lions have just one first-choice striker Eren Derdiyok available.

Head coach Fatih Terim has been forced to play winger Sinan Gumus and even defensive midfielder Ryan Donk up front at times this season.

Galatasaray sold Bafetimbi Gomis this summer but failed to replace the 32 goal striker.
