Turkey national team manager Mircea Lucescu has revelaled his latest squad selection ahead of the games against Sweden and Ukraine.

The big surprise was Mert Gunok being left out of the squad.

The Basaksehir keeper has conceded the least goals per game alongside Manchester City shot-stopper Ederson when compared to the Top 5 leagues.

Gunok has let in just three goals this term keeping eight clean sheets.

In defence Lille defender Zeki Celik has been recalled.

Despite making just a single appearance for Leicester City Caglar Soyuncu has been called up.

The 22-year-old has started the last 15 games for Turkey.

In form Alanyaspor defender Merih Demiral has been promoted to the senior side.

There are hints that Lucescu may decide to play the 20-year-old centre-back on loan from Sporting Lisbon.

Everton striker Cenk Tosun has made the squad and will be joined in attack by Valladolid forward Enes Unal.

In midfielder Roma star Cengiz Under and AC Milan Hakan Calhanoglu have been selected.
