Wolves have entered talks with the agent of Kasimapsa striker Mbaye Diagne over a January transfer, sources close to the player have revealed to Turkish-Football.
The Premier League outfit have identified Diagne as a transfer target over the winter transfer window after his rich vein of form this term.
Diagne has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 12 games for Kasimpasa who sit in 3rd place in the league.
The Istanbul outfit have scored the highest number of goals in the Super Lig (26) thanks in no small part to Diagne’s contributions.
The striker has been involved in over half of Kasimpasa’s goals this season and did recently extend his contract to 2022 but the Istanbul minnows could sell for the right price.
Kasimpasa have yet to name their price for Diagne but will make their terms clear once his agent holds talks with the club next week.
The Super Lig outfit are not keen on selling their star man in January but would consider an offer for the right price.
Turkish-Football reported back in January that Diagne had offers from Leeds, Hull City, Bournemouth and Reading but that talks fell through due to his work permit issue.
Diagne has applied for an Italian passport after spending several years playing in the EU country.
The 27-year-old will not require a work permit if he is granted EU citizenship by January.
