Mesut Ozil missed Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday at the Emirates stadium with a back injury.
Ozil has now missed the last five games for the Gunners in all competitions.
The playmaker of Turkish origin also missed the games against Tottenham and Manchester United due to the same back problem.
Ozil did however, turn up at the North London based stadium to give a young fan a surprise.
The young fan looked shocked to see Ozil standing behind his seat in the stands.
The 30-year-old went over to sit next to the young lad.
