Liverpool Interest In Abdulkadir Omur Confirmed, £27m Offer Rumour Rejected – Club President Opens Up About ‘Turkish Messi’ Future

Liverpool are interested in Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Abdulkadir Omur however, reports that the Reds have made a £27m offer are false.

Trabzonspor sources confirmed to Turkish-Football that Liverpool are among several Premier League sides interested in the 19-year-old.

The Black Sea based side want to keep Omur on at the club in January but are prepared to sell in January if an offer matching their €20m valuation is met.

Omur meanwhile confirmed on Sunday that he would be interested in joining Liverpool if the clubs agreed terms.

The Turkey international is keen on a move to one of the top five European leagues, in particular, the Premier League.

“Liverpool is a very important club, but the most important thing is Trabzonspor’s interests,” he said.

“If my club tell me that I can go, I’ll go and if they tell me to stay, I’ll stay. We will see.

“My priority is Trabzonspor but I have a dream of playing in Europe. I hope I play there one day. My dream is to succeed here and then go to Europe.”

Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu meanwhile confirmed that there is interest in Omur but also denied reports of a Liverpool offer today.

“I will only let him join a top club, there isn’t an offer from Liverpool but this is the level of teams interested in him,” he told BEIN Turkey.

Omur has two goals and four assists in all competitions for Trabzonspor this term.
