Shinji Kagawa hit the ground running at Besiktas after joining on a loan move over the winter transfer window.
Kagawa scored 20 seconds after being brought on as a substitute in the second-half and then went onto double his tally with his second touch of the ball just two minutes later.
The Japan international spoke to reporters ahead of the Bursaspor clash tonight where he praised Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp for helping him get to where he has in his career.
Kagawa waved lyrical about the German manager who was his boss at Borussia Dortmund and revealed that he hopes the Reds win the Premier League this season.
“Klopp has had a huge impact on where I am right now. I hope he’ll win the title this season with Liverpool,” Kagawa said.
Kagawa won two Bundesliga championships and two German Cup trophies during his time under the stewardship of Klopp at Dortmund.

Kagawa has gone down a huge hit among Besiktas fans who have really taken to the 29-year-old since he completed his move just over a week ago.
“The fans never left me alone since the day I came here. I am hoping that Besiktas will have more Japanese fans. I will do my best to increase this number,” he added.”
“I haven’t had this much support from fans anytime in my career.”
