Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry has revealed that Arsenal star Mesut Ozil was his favorite player to play alongside at the North London based outfit.
Gnabry rose through the ranks of the Gunners academy before breaking into the first team and was part of the club between 2011-16 before his move to the Bundesliga outfit.
Ozil meanwhile joined the North London side on a three-year move from Real Madrid in 2013, spending three seasons in the same side as Gnabry.
The 23-year-old was full of praise for Ozil who has struggled for playing time under the stewardship of Unai Emery in 2019, making just a single start.
Gnabry revealed that it was ‘amazing’ to play alongside the playmaker of Turkish origin.
“I’ve already played with many good guys. But, if I have to highlight one, I take Mesut Ozil,” Gnabry told Goal.
“The kind of quality I have seen in his training and in the games at that time was amazing.”

Ozil was left out of the Arsenal squad that lost 1-0 against BATE last Thursday but is expected to return to the side for the return-leg this week.
Emery came under fire for his decision to not make use of his highest paid player despite a poor run of form.
Ozil has four goals and two assists in 18 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
