Besiktas beat Konyaspor 3-2 at the Vodafone Park Stadium in the Super Lig on Sunday to close the gap with league leaders Basaksehir to 13 points.

The Black Eagles remain in 3rd place but have cut the gap with second-placed Galatasaray to just two points.

Adem Ljajic opened the scoring on 14 minutes but Omer Ali Sahiner equalised soon after capitalizing on poor goalkeeping from Loris Karius.

Burak Yilmaz put Besiktas back ahead on 33 minutes with a stunning free-kick effort.

Konyaspor did however, manage to equalise once again when Fofana scored mid-way through the second-half.

The game looked destined for a draw until Shinji Kagawa scored a last gasp winner.

The championship is starting to look out of reach for Besiktas but a second-place finish which would guarantee Champions League football is still on the cards.

The Istanbul giants have scored more goals than any other team in the league this season (50) the problem is they have conceded 34 goals which is almost triple what leaders Basaksehir have.
