Guidetti put the home side ahead after just four minutes and things went from bad to worse after Jony doubled Alaves’ lead on 24 minutes.
The visitors managed to pull one goal back on 39 minutes when Joaquin Fernandez scored on 39 minutes.
It was Turkey international striker Enes Unal who ended up rescuing a point after scoring from a spot kick on 76 minutes.
Unal has now scored in his last two successive games for Valladolid, both games ended in a 2-2 draw.
The 21-year-old joined Valladolid on loan from Villarreal over the summer and now has five goals and one assist in 29 appearances in all competitions this season.
Valladolid are currently 17th in La Liga but could drop into the relegation zone if Celta Vigo avoid defeat against Girona today.

Unal’s parent club Villarreal are doing marginally better and are in 16th place on 33 points this term.
Valladolid have scored the fewest number of goals in the league this term netting just 28 times.
Unal does not have a prolific goal record this term but has directly been involved in 21 percent of goals for his team this term.
