Galatasaray take on Kayserispor at the Turk Telekom Stadium on Saturday knowing that a win would close the gap with league leaders Basaksehir to just two points.
A defeat meanwhile, could see 3rd placed Besiktas join them on 56 points should the Black Eagles win their next game.
The Lions will be without Christian Luyindama and Henry Onyekuru who are suspended.
Everton loanee Onyekuru has 12 goals and three assists in 37 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions this season.
Onyekuru scored in the 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce in the Intercontinental Derby last weekend
Additionally, Sofiane Feghouli and Semih Kaya are injury doubts.
Head coach Fatih Terim will welcome back Marcao who returns from suspension.
Galatasaray have not been defeated at home in their last 33 games – winning 28 and drawing five.
Only a win will do however, if the Yellow-Reds want to keep up pressure on Basaksehir.
