Basaksehir take on Ankaragucu at the Fatih Terim Stadium on Sunday hoping to close the gap with league leaders Galatasaray who moved three points ahead after beating Rizespor 3-2 away from home.

Abdullah Avci’s side had an eight-point lead at the top of the table ahead of Galatasaray just a few weeks ago but have gone four games without a win.

Ankaragucu meanwhile will be without Brice Djedje and Wilfred Moke due to injury and Cebrail Karayel who is suspended.

The home side will be without Eljero Elia who is suspended. Meanwhile, Alexandru Epureanu, Demba Ba and Arda Turan are all out injured.

Basaksehir will remain in second place behind Galatasaray if they win despite being on the same points due to head-to-head results between the two sides.

The Istanbul based side cannot afford to drop many more points as 3rd place Besiktas are just four points behind with three games to go.

The home side take on the Lions next at the Turk Telekom Arena in the penultimate game of the season.
