Cengiz Under is currently locked in negotiations with Roma over a new contract deal but Arsenal and Tottenham remain interested a source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football.
The North London based clubs have been scouting Under throughout the season and have been in contact with Under’s representatives.
Roma are reluctant to accept anything below €50m for the former Altinordu youth academy product. Arsenal and Tottenham have been monitoring his situation closely as they continue to plot a summer move.
The Serie A giants may consider selling star players to balance the books if they miss out on the Champions League.
Under has six goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances for Roma in all competitions this term despite missing much of the second half of the season due to injury.
The Turkey international is interested in a move to the Premier League but has not closed the door on Roma either.
The Giallorossi have been locked in talks with Under’s representatives over a new deal but have yet to reach an agreement.
Under has another three-years remaining on his contract. The problem is he is one of the lowest paid members in the first-team despite being a star player.
The 21-year-old earns approximately €1m per-season and wants a pay rise that reflects his status in the team.
Roma meanwhile, have been reluctant to offer an increased wage packet due to their current financial position which could be about to get worse if they do not secure Champions League football next term.
The rising star recently recovered from his muscular injury and has returned to first-team football.

Under impressed in the Champions League netting three times and providing two assists in six games.
In total the winger has 14 goals and 12 assists in 64 appearances for Roma in all competitions since joining from Basaksehir in July 2017.
Under would be granted a work permit to play in England based on the transfer fee he would likely fetch and the fact that he has been a regular started for the Turkish national team since March 2017 – he has four goals in 17 international caps.
