Turkey 2-1 Greece: Senol Gunes Extends Win Streak

Turkey beat Greece 2-1 at the Antalya Arena stadium on Thursday in an international friendly clash.

Cengiz Under was the star of the show scoring a cracking opening goal before setting up Kenan Karaman with the second.

Turkey national team boss Senol Gunes managed to keep his 100 percent win streak alive in the process.

The Crescent Stars have won all three games with Gunes in charge.

Gunes fielded an experimental squad resting several star names including Hakan Calhanoglu, Merih Demiral, Mehmet Zeki Celik and Abdulkadir Omur.

Antalyaspor right-back Nazim Sangare had an evening to remember after making his debut for the national side on his birthday.

Turkey take on Uzbekistan next in Antalya in another international friendly before facing France in Konya for their third European Championship qualifier.
