Besiktas have officially confirmed the appointment of Abdullah Avci as manager on a three-year deal.
Turkish-Football reported a few days ago that Avci had agreed a deal with the Black Eagles but the club have now released a statement announcing their new head coach.
The Black-Whites shared the following video to unveil the 47-year-old manager.
Besiktas wished Avci all the best in his new role and welcomed him to the family in a statement on the official club website.
Avci will replace Senol Gunes as Turkey national team boss.
Gunes parted ways with Besiktas after coaching the Black Eagles for four seasons during which time he lifted the Super Lig title twice.

Avci transformed Basaksehir from a small club into genuine title contenders for the last two league campaigns.
The Istanbul based side went neck and neck with eventual Super Lig champions Galatasaray.
Avci will coach one of the traditional big four teams – Besiktas, Trabzonspor, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce – for the first time.
