Liverpool have been scouting Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas a source close to the Super Lig outfit revealed to Turkish-Football.
The Reds join a growing number of sides interested in the 19-year-old.
Turkish-Football reported last week that Tottenham and Arsenal have also been keeping tabs on Elmas but that the most serious interest was from Italy with Napoli prepared to make an offer.
The Fanatik have since reported that Atletico Madrid have agreed to pay €14m for Elmas and will hold talks with club president Ali Koc following the end of the Eid holidays next week.
Atleti are interested in Elmas but have yet to make a formal offer for the rising star.
In fact, Fenerbahce have not received a single concrete offer yet.
The Yellow Canaries would consider selling Elmas if they can get close to their €20m valuation.

Fenerbahce must sell players in order to make transfers this summer and the 19-year-old is currently the most likely to fetch a high price.
Elmas scored four times in 40 appearances for the Yellow Canaries in all competitions this term.
