Fenerbahce are in talks with Roma full-back Aleksandar Kolarov a source close to the Super Lig side revealed to Turkish-Football.
Roma have however, yet to make a decision over Kolarov due to not currently having a sporting director and recent managerial changes.
The Giallorossi are unlikely to make a final decision regarding the Serbia international until they bring in a sporting director.
Roma have been without a sporting director since Monchi parted ways with the club in March.
The uncertainty has cast a shadow over a potential move as Fenerbahce are keen on completing their summer transfers early this summer.
The 33-year-old has just 12 months remaining on his contract and has yet to sign an extension deal with Roma.

Fenerbahce are keen on completing the transfer but are growing frustrated with everything being up in the air right now at Roma.
The Super Lig outfit have been informed by Kolarov’s representatives that he is open to a move to Turkey but until Roma make a decision they are at a stalemate.
Kolarov scored nine times and provided two assists in 43 appearances for Roma in all competitions last term.
The Yellow Canaries had a disappointing season finishing the league campaign in 6th place.
