Tottenham have made an enquiry for Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas a source close to the Super Lig outfit revealed to Turkish-Football.
Spurs scouted Elmas three times last season and have made Fenerbahce aware of their interest in the 19-year-old.
Tottenham scouted the 19-year-old three times this season – against Besiktas and Basaksehir in the league and Trnava in the Europa League.
The Premier League outfit have contacted the Yellow Canaries regarding Elmas’ availability.
Fenerbahce are keen on keeping Elmas on next season but the fact of the matter is the club must sell players if they hope to make transfers without breaching their FFP agreement.
The Yellow-Navy Blues have set a €20m valuation for the rising star.
Fenerbahce have another three-years on Elmas’ contract and have made it clear they will not budge on their asking price.
Tottenham are not alone in their Elmas interest.
Several Italian sides including Napoli, Fiorentina, Inter, Lazio have also contacted Fenerbahce regarding the Macedonia international.
Additionally, Borussia Dortmund have also entered the race and held preliminary talks.
La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are also targetting the young midfielder.
Elmas scored four times in 40 appearances in all competitions for Fenerbahce in all competitions this term.

He turned down several offers to join the club he grew up supporting as a kid.
