Basaksehir have completed the signing of Fredrik Gulbrandsen the club revealed on the official website.
The Istanbul based outfit released a statement confirming they have signed a three-year deal with the Norweigan striker.
The statement read: “An agreement has been reached with Salzburg over the transfer of Fredrik Gulbrandsen on a three-year deal. We welcome Fredrik Gulbrandsen to the club.”
The 26-year-old has become the first transfer of the season for the Istanbul based outfit.
Basaksehir have had a tumultuous summer so far after losing Abdullah Avci to rivals Besiktas.
Avci played an instrumental role in Basaksehir’s rise from Istanbul minnows into a genuine force in Turkish football.
Basaksehir finished last season as runners-up, narrowly missing out on lifting the Super Leg table to Galatasaray in the penultimate week.
Gulbrandsen scored 12 times and provided eight assists in 35 appearances for Salzburg last term and has three international caps for Norway.

Avci took a break from managing the Super Lig side to take charge of the Turkey national team between 2011-13.
