Basaksehir have completed the transfer of Muhammet Demir on a four-year deal.
The Super Lig outfit unveiled the striker in a signing ceremony at the club headquarters in Istanbul.
Demir left Sivasspor as a free agent at the end of June after a two-year spell at the club.
The 27-year-old striker struggled for playing time last season scoring just four goals in 19 appearances.
Demir played just 566 minutes of first-team action for the Yigido’s last term.
The striker is a Super Lig veteran having scored 46 goals and provided 14 assists in 186 appearances in all competitions.
Demir also has two international caps for Turkey.
Basaksehir finished last season as runners-up and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stage.
The Istanbul based side are hoping to qualify for the Champions League group stage for the first time.
Basaksehir narrowly missed out on lifting the league title losing out to Galatasaray who beat them in the penultimate round of games.
