Villarreal striker Enes Unal has extended his loan stay at Valladolid by an additional season the La Liga outfit revealed.
Unal will spend an additional season on loan at the Spanish side.
The 22-year-old scored six goals and provided three assists in 34 appearances last term.
At first glance, his goal record does not look impressive but Valladolid scored just 32 goals last term.
Unal was directly involved in 28 percent of Valladolid’s sides goals.
The young striker left Bursaspor for Manchester City in 2015 but was loaned out to Belgium and the Netherlands due to not having a work permit to play in England.
Unal became the highest scoring Turkish international in the Eredivisie after netting 18 times in 32 games for Twente over the 2016-17 season.
His impressive form earned him a £12.6m move [Transfermarkt] to Villarreal.
Unal scored six goals and provided four assists in his first season in La Liga for Villarreal – and Levante who he joined on a brief loan move to Levante from November to December.
