Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been closely linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the Turkish and British press recently.
The transfer story was even discussed on Sky Sports last evening.

Turkish-Football repeatedly denied rumours that Ozil is Fenerbahce bound and underlined that he will be staying at Arsenal this season.
Fenerbahce were forced to release a statement regarding Ozil following the Sky Sports report.
The Turkish media mistranslated the story and claimed that the playmaker was nearing a move to the Yellow Canaries.
The Super Lig club stated that while Ozil has a ‘Fenerbahce identity’ and is a well-known fan there is no offer and in the current financial climate a transfer would not be possible.
The statement also referred to the WinWin show organised by Fenerbahce broadcasted on TV 8 where club president Ali Koc said he wants Ozil to join but that it would not be feasible in the short term.
Ozil is of Turkish origin and recently married former Miss World Turkey Amine Gulse in Istanbul.
The 30-year-old will be staying at Arsenal this summer and is preparing for the pre-season US Tour.
The Gunners will take on Colorado in a friendly followed by International Champions Cup games against Bayern Munich, Fiorentina and Real Madrid.
