Altinordu goalkeeper Erce Kardesler is on the verge of joining Trabzonspor according to beIN Sport Turkey.

Per the source, the 25-year-old keeper bid farewell to his teammates and staff at the Altinordu grounds today after packing his bags.

Kardesler has left the team camp in Erzurum and is set to complete his move to Trabzonspor within the next 24 hours.

The keeper spent the past four seasons at Altinordu after joining from Bursaspor.

Kardesler was the first-choice keeper for Altinordu last term keeping 13 clean sheets in 34 league games.

Trabzonspor have had a busy transfer window signing the likes of Obi Mikel, Gaston Campi, Donis Avdija.

Additionally, the Black Sea based side also tapped up two rising stars from Altinordu which sparked controversy.

Trabzonspor signed 18-year-old Atakan Gunduz and 17-year-old wonderkid Salih Kavrazli.

The Altinordu youth footballers were offered pro-contracts by Trabzonspor.

The Izmir based side insisted that Trabzonspor acted unethically as they took two star names from the academy.

Trabzonspor meanwhile, argued that they acted within the rules of the game and that Altinordu should have offered their players pro-contracts if they valued them so highly.
