Liverpool have worked out a formula to sign Trabzonspor attacking midfielder Abdulkadir Omur according to Fanatik.

Per the source, the Reds want to sign Omur on a permanent deal but loan him back to Trabzonspor next season.

The Black Sea based side will be able to keep their star man on for an additional season while receiving a substantial transfer fee.

The Super Lig giants have been reluctant to part ways with their star man over the summer but would be open to a deal which allows him to stay on loan for an additional season.

Trabzonspor are currently in trouble with FFP and if they do not meet the financial agreement with UEFA until 15 October they will receive a European competition ban for either the 2020-21 or 2021-22 season.

The Reds meanwhile, will get their hands on one of the hottest rising stars in Turkish football and ensure that he continues his development with another season of first-team football.

Omur has established himself as a key player at Trabzonspor despite being just 19-years-old.

Omur was named in the 2018 Guardian Next Generation series for Turkey.

UEFA meanwhile described him as something of a cross between Lionel Messi and Gheorghe Hagi.
