Monaco left striker Radamel Falcao out of the preseason Portugal squad according to the Fanatik.
Per the source, Falcao was not included in the squad and the Ligue 1 club did not give a reason for his exclusion.
The 33-year-old was set to return to the preseason camp late anyway due to being on international duty with the Colombia national team at the Copa America.
Falcao went on holiday with his family after the competition to the Bahamas.
The latest development comes amid reports that the experienced striker is close to a move to Galatasaray.
Turkish agent Ahmet Bulut who has close ties to Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes revealed that there is a 50 percent chance of the transfer being completed.

“This is not going to be an easy transfer but the first step has been taken,” Bulut revealed to the Hurriyet newspaper.
“There is a 50 percent chance this move happens right now and rumours that he will come on a free transfer are false.”
Falcao scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 39 games in all competitions last term.
Galatasaray would be able to offer Falcao Champions League football next season after lifting the league title for the second season running.
