Turkish Red Crescent have released a video thanking Arsenal star Mesut Ozil and his wife Amine Gulse for feeding 16,000 homeless people as part of his wedding day gesture.
Ozil and Gulse fed over 16,000 people on their wedding day across Turkey including refugees and displaced people in Northern Syria.
Additionally, Ozil and Gulse also covered the costs for 1000 children to receive life-changing operations around the world.

Kerem Kinik, vice-president of the Red Crescent, expressed gratitude to the playmaker and his wife after the wedding last month.

Ozil and Gulse got married on June 7 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey.

The 30-year-old has since reported to Arsenal for pre-season training sporting his new dyed blonde hair.
Ozil has been in impressive form for the Gunners on their US Tour which has seen them beat Colorado, Bayern Munich and Fiorentina before eventually losing to Real Madrid on penalties.
The Gunners take on Lyon next in the Emirates Cup before traveling to France to take on Angers and finally Barcelona at the Nou Camp on 4 August.
