Stoke City have priced Besiktas out of the market for Bruno Martins Indi according to Black Eagles vice-president Serdal Adali.
Adali revealed that the Potters want a fee that the Black-Whites are unable to pay.
As a result the Istanbul based outfit are considering other options and are will only resume negotiations with Stoke unless they reduce their asking price.
“Indi is too expensive, unless Stoke reduce their asking price we cannot continue talks,” Adali was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“As a result his transfer is looking tough but we have alternatives who we are currently negotiating with.”
Mindi scored one goal in 41 appearances for the Champions outfit last term and has another three-years remaining on his contract.

The Black Eagles have made signing a defender a priority this summer after struggling at the back last term.
Besiktas conceded 10 more goals than Super Lig champions Galatasaray and 24 more than runners-up Basaksehir last season.
The Black-Whites ended up finishing last season in 3rd place and will compete in the Europa League next term.
