Dr Erkut Sogut will travel to Washington, America next week where he will hold exploratory talks with the club directors over Mesut Ozil’s future Turkish-Football sources have revealed.

The Washington based side are keen in signing Ozil in January 2020 when the MLS season kicks off.
DC could face competition from MLS rivals Inter Miami and LA Galaxy who have also expressed an interest – but have yet to hold talks.
Ozil has another two-Years left on his Arsenal contract and is happy at the North London club but the MLS could be a long-term option.
The playmaker has traveled to America for the past few summers as part of the Gunners pre-season camps and could be open to a moving to the US in the future.

For the time being Ozil will remain at Arsenal and has completely ruled out leaving this summer.
The 30-year-old enjoyed an impressive pre-season featuring regularly over the summer and most recently provided an assist in the 2-1 defeat against Barcelona.
