Manchester United centre-back Marcos Rojo has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce in the British and Turkish media.
The Times were the first to report that the Argentine defender is pressuring United to allow him to join on a season-long loan.
Per the source, Rojo was upset with the Reds not allowing him to join Everton this summer after valuing him at £25m.
Turkish media outlet A Spor have also been claiming that Fenerbahce are ‘closing in’ on a temporary move for the defender.
A Fenerbahce insider has however, revealed to Turkish-Football for the second time that an offer has not been made.
Rojo is not currently a target, in fact, the Yellow Canaries have not held talks or made enquiries to United nor his representatives over a summer move.
It is possible that agents acting as intermediaries have contacted Rojo’s representatives regarding their willingness to move to Fenerbahce but there has been no contact through official channels.
Fenerbahce have made signing a new defender a priority but have financial constraints due to Financial Fair Play.
Rojo does have another two-years remaining on his contract with United and is on an annual salary of £8m.

The 29-year-old has fallen further down the pecking order following the transfer of Harry Maguire.
Rojo has Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly to compete with.
The experienced centre-back was not included in the matchday squad against the Blues in the opening Premier League game of the season.
