Besiktas sporting director Ali Naibi has confirmed reached an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of Mohamed Elneny.
“We have reached an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of Mohamed Elneny,” Naibi said.
“He will undergo his medical next, if he passes we will add him to our squad on a loan transfer.”
Turkish-Football reported today that the Egypt international will arrive in Istanbul, Turkey today for advanced talks with Besiktas.
Besiktas had been negotiating a wage structure payment with Arsenal over Elneny who is paid £50,000 per-week.
The two sides have now reached an agreement over the payment of wages.
Arsenal have given the green light for Elneny to leave after Unai Emery made it clear that the midfielder has no place in his side.
In fact, Emery advised Elneny to find another club and has not used the 26-year-old this campaign.

“For example, Elneny and Mustafi know their position in the squad and really I want the players to be happy here, I want the players to be protagonists here,” Emery was quoted as saying by the Telegraph.
“Last year with Mustafi and Mo, when they didn’t play they weren’t happy and I spoke with them a lot of times last year and this pre-season and I think it is positive for them to leave and sign for another team where they can be protagonists and be happy and continue their careers.”
Besiktas meanwhile have made signing a new midfielder a priority after parting ways with Gary Medel who joined Bologna.
The Black Eagles finished last season in 3rd place and will compete in the Europa League this season.
The Black Whites will take on Wolves, Braga and Bratislava in Group K.
