Besiktas have been drawn against Braga, Wolves and Slovan Bratislava in the Europa League group stage draw held at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland today.
The Black Eagles drew a pretty tough group considering they were the first seed team in the group.
Trabzonspor meanwhile only drew one side from a top-five league, La Liga outfit Getafe.
The Black Sea based outfit will also take on Swiss side Basel and Russian outfit Krasnodar.
The Super Lig outfit were drawn from Pot 4 and avoided some of the giants in this seasons tournament such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Roma, Porto.
Basaksehir meanwhile, drew the toughest group with Roma and Borussia Monchengladbach in Group J.
Roma star Cengiz Under will return back to Istanbul to take on his former side Basaksehir.
The group stage will kick-off with the first round of game on Match Day 1 taking place on 19 September.
The final group stage game will take place on 12 December.
