Galatasaray were held to a 1-1 draw against BtcTurk Yeni Malatyaspor at the Yeni Malatyaspor Stadium on Sunday in the Super Lig.

Fulham loanee Jean Michael Seri scored his first goal since joining the Lions on a temporary move over the summer transfer window.

Seri opened the scoring wrapping up a well-worked attacking move for the visitors.

The 28-year-old has one goal and one assist in five appearances for the Yellow-Reds this term.

Seri has started the last two games for the reigning Super Lig champions this term after returning from a two-game suspension after being sent off in the 1-1 draw against Konyaspor.

Galatasaray lead against Malatyaspor up until the 89th Guilherme equalised for the home side.

The draw saw the visitors move into 5th place in the league standings on eight points.

The Lions take on bitter-rivals Fenerbahce next in the Super Lig on Saturday at the Turk Telekom Arena.
