Turkey managed to hold France to a 1-1 draw at the Stade de France on Monday in the Euro 2020 qualification Group H.
The draw ensured that Turkey remained top of the group ahead of the French who sit in second place.
The Crescent-Stars have taken four points off France over the course of the qualification campaign.
Demiral started both games as centre-back. The 21-year-old defender rarely put a foot wrong for Turkey and managed to keep wave after wave of French attack at bay.

The young defender was not the only Turkey international to make the list.
Goalkeeper Mert Gunok also joined Demiral as the second representative from Turkey in the team.
Turkey take on Iceland next before their final group game against Andorra.
A point from either game will secure the Turks qualification to the European Championships next summer.
