Arsenal take on Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Playmaker of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil has been left out of the squad yet again by head coach Unai Emery.

Ozil will not feature against Palace as he has not even been included in the squad.

The 31-year-old has only made a single appearance for the Gunners in the Premier League this term.

Emery did reveal before the game that his decision to not include Ozil in the team recently was a joint decision with the Arsenal hierarchy.

“Here we have one agreed strategy as a club and a team. Because the most important thing is the club, the team and finding a performance,” Emery said.

“Previously we were all speaking between us to take that decision. I know all the supporters want to know something [more] but now is not the moment.”

Ozil has made just two appearances in all competitions playing a total of 142 minutes for the north London based outfit.

The 31-year-old is struggling for playing time this term but is under contract until 2021.

Arsenal head into the Palace clash coming off the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Sheffield United.

Palace meanwhile, head into the game just a single point behind the Gunners in the Premier League table.
