Turkey held Iceland to a goalless draw at the Turk Telekom Arena in Istanbul on Thursday to book a place in the 2020 European Championships.
The Crescent Stars have conceded just three goals in nine games keeping seven clean sheets.
With such an impressive record the defence has attracted a lot of interest.
Reports in Turkey which were later picked up by the British press claimed that Arsenal sent scouts to monitor Caglar Soyuncu.
A source close to Soyuncu informed Turkish-Football directly that the story made no sense as Arsenal and several other Premier League sides including Manchester City have been scouting the Turkey international in England.
City and Arsenal are interested in Soyuncu. The Citizens have made enquiries to the 23-year-old’s representatives.
Leicester City have however, made it clear that Soyuncu is not for sale in January.
The powerful defender meanwhile, is happy at Leicester after hitting red hot form this season and has another four-years remaining on his contract.

Soyuncu played the full 90 minutes against Iceland putting on an impressive display for the Red-Whites.
The Leicester man has been sent home along with several other first-team stars as head coach Senol Gunes will give younger, less experienced members of the squad a chance against Andorra on Sunday having already secured qualification.
Turkish-Football reported yesterday that Arsenal did send scouts to Turkey but the primary target was Juventus defender Merih Demiral who has been struggling for playing time in the Serie A this term.
