Trabzonspor took on Basaksehir at the Medical Park stadium in the Super Lig on Sunday tied on points with the Istanbul minnows at the top of the table.
The game was played behind closed doors as fans have been banned from attending Super Lig games as a precaution against the coronavirus outbreak.
It must have felt odd to Trabzonspor who generally enjoy fanatical support at home especially for big games.
Basaksehir meanwhile, have been playing in front of no fans at home since their inception in 2014.
It was the visitors who took the lead when Demba Ba put them ahead on 57 minutes.
Ba has now been directly involved in 13 goals in his last 10 games and has scored six of his last seven shots on target.
Basaksehir did not manage to hold onto the win but it was not a Trabzonspor player who scored.
Former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel bundled the ball into his own next on 63 minutes following a mixup in the box after a Trabzonspor corner.
Skrtel otherwise had a flawless game but it ended gifting the home side a point.
Basaksehir will take on will take on Alanyaspor next Sunday. Trabzonspor meanwhile, face Goztepe away.
