Roma midfielder Salih Uçan has revealed that Daniel De Rossi is the most influential player in the squad off the field and in training.
“I thought Totti would be the central figure but off the field De Rossi is the most influential, he has a lot of respect and he really boosts the confidence of the younger players,” Uçan told NTV Spor.

Uçan also underlined that he is learning Italian and that he has made a few friends in the Roma team.
“I am developing my Italian and have made good friends with Lorensi, Adem Ljacic and the keeper Lukasz Skorupski,” he added.
The 21-year-old central midfielder has spent much of the season out injured but made his first Roma start in the Serie A last week against Cesena.
Uçan provided an assist for De Rossi in Roma’s 1-0 win over Cesena and was awarded a 7.50 rating from Whoscored.
The Turkish international is currently on a two-year loan at AS Roma from Fenerbahçe and the Serie A outfit have a clause to make the deal permanent at the end of the current agreement.
