Liverpool have lost their last five successive home games in the Premier League including a 1-0 defeat against Fulham over the weekend.
Head coach Jurgen Klopp has, however, battled with an injury crisis.
The reigning Premier League champions have been without Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, with Joel Matip.
Jordan Henderson recently joined the injury list with a groin problem following the Merseyside derby.
To make matters worse Ozan Kabak also missed the Fulham game with injury.
However, the Liverpool Echo does not believe he has a serious problem and report that he is ‘expected’ to return in time for the Champions League game.
Klopp described Kabak as having a ‘little problem’ ahead of the Fulham game.
“Ozan had yesterday after the game a little problem. He has played a lot of games now and we will see if he is ready for Fulham. It doesn’t look like in the moment, so we will have to find solutions,” Klopp said ahead of the game.
Kabak had started the previous five games in all competitions including the first RB Leipzig game, helping his side keep a clean sheet.
The Echo also report that Roberto Firmino who also missed the Fulham game, had a ‘minor knock’ and could return.
Henderson is out, as is Matip, Gomez and Van Dijk.
