The 24-year-old would be available for a relatively low price and Villa are keen on strengthening the winger position in January, especially with uncertainty over Nicolo Zaniolo following the betting allegations.
Newcastle meanwhile, have had scouts keeping tabs on Sari and Adana Demirspor who have been a surprise package over the past two seasons.
Leicester City recently signed Yunus Akgun who made a name for himself at Adana and Ismail Yuksek also came through the Mediterranean based club.
Adana have several exciting, underrated and relatively cheap players coming through the ranks.
Sari has played 13 matches for Adana Demirspor in the Super League and Europe this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 7 assists. He was particularly impressive in the 4-0 win over Alanyaspor, where he provided 3 assists.
His performances have also caught the attention of the Turkish national team and he made his debut in September 2023. He came on as a substitute in the match against Latvia and provided an assist for Kerem Aktürkoğlu’s goal last week.
Adana Demirspor coach Patrick Kluivert has praised Sarı on several occasions describing him as a player he is ‘crazy about’.
Kluivert recently said: “I’m crazy about Yusuf Sarı, he is a great football player.”
There are reports that some Premier League and Ligue 1 clubs are interested in signing Sarı and will continue to scout him over the course of the season.
Sari has European pedigree having risen through the ranks of the Marseille academy before moving to Turkiye.
The winger was born in France but represents the Turkish national team at international level.
Sarı has a contract with Adana Demirspor until June 2025 but he could be on the move in January or next summer if he continues to perform at a high level.
The Super Lig outfit would struggle to keep him on if a major European side came knocking and would want to cash in as they are a developing club.
