Bayern Munich expects an ‘extremely loud’ and ’emotional’ atmosphere at the Champions League Group A Match Day 3 clash against Galatasaray in Istanbul on Tuesday.
“It is extremely loud, extremely emotional. That will be a factor,” Tuchel told reporters on Monday.
“Galatasaray will use that to their advantage. The match is a huge challenge for us.”

Bayern are also facing an injury crisis having travelled to Turkiye with a squad featuring just 18 players.
The extensive injury list includes Serge Gnabry, Dayot Upamecano, Raphael Guerreiro and Leon Goretzka who all missed the flight and captain Manuel Neuer is not yet ready to return from a broken leg after missing almost a year.
The Bayen coach wants to play Noussair Mazraoui but he has been rushed back from injury.
Tuchel said about Mazraoui: “We’ve accelerated the recovery process to the limit.
“If he feels safe to do so, he’ll play. Medically, it’s OK.”
Tuchel thinks that Galatasaray’s star striker Mauro Icardi will not play due to injury but the Lions have not ruled out the striker playing.
He did pick up an injury after scoring a brace over the weekend in the 2-1 win over Besiktas in the Istanbul derby.
Tuchel is confident that his team can still get a result, and that they are prepared for anything that Galatasaray throw at them.
In summary, Tuchel is wary of the challenge that awaits Bayern Munich on Tuesday, but he is confident that his team can get a result. After all Bayern are unbeaten in 36 Champions League group stage games and have won their last 15.
The Red-Yellows are however, in good form themselves and are unbeaten in their last 17 games having already beat Manchester United at Old Trafford this season.
Lions manager Okan Buruk made it clear Bayern will be tough but reminded reporters that they were underdogs against Manchester United as well.
“Bayern have a lot of experience. After beating United, we also now want an unforgettable evening against Bayern,” he said.
