The Turkish national football team has moved up four places in the latest FIFA World Rankings after an impressive month under the management of Vincenzo Montella.
Turkiye which is in Group D of the 2024 European Championship qualifiers, ensured qualification for the tournament with two wins under new coach Montella.

The Turkish team managed to beat Croatia away from home for the first time with a 1-0 victory and then recording a 4-1 win over Latvia days later.
Montella won his first two games in charge of the national team since taking over Stefan Kuntz as manager.
The two wins secured a passage into UEFA Euro 2024 and Turkiye will ensure first place if they avoid defeat in their final group game against Wales.
The final Group D game will take place in the Cardiff Arena, Cardiff, Wales on November 21.
The team’s success has also boosted Turkey’s FIFA ranking, from 42nd to 38th place.
