Man United Join Arsenal in Race For Sacha Boey

Galatasaray’s star players continue to attract attention from top European clubs. Manchester United are now interested in signing defender Sacha Boey, who has also been linked with Arsenal according to Takvim.

Per the source, United are looking to strengthen their defence and see Boey as a solution.

United are set to rival Arsenal for the signing of Boey after failing to strengthen their right-back position in the summer.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are expected to make bids for the 23-year-old Frenchman in January.

The French full-back is under contract until 2025 and is a star player for the Red-Yellows. Ideally Galatasaray wants to keep Boey on beyond January but would be open to an end of season move.

Boey has established that he wants to play in England and he recently switched agents to Stellar management who represent many Premier League players.

The latest reports follow Turkish-Football reporting last month that both United and Arsenal have been sending scouts to watch Boey especially in the Champions League.

Boey scored in the 2-2 draw against Copenhagen, played well in the away win over Manchester United and started against Bayern Munich.

Aston Villa, who signed Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray on loan at the beginning of the season, are also interested in signing winger Kerem Aktürkoğlu.

Manager Unai Emery has reportedly put the Turkish international on his transfer list.

Aktürkoğlu impressed with his performance in the recent match against Manchester United and Bayern and is also being closely monitored by Tottenham Hotspur.
