Galatasaray is also looking to find a potential replacement for Tanguy Ndombele, who has failed to live up to expectations since joining the club in the summer.
Ndombele joined the Lions on loan from Arsenal rivals Tottenham over the summer but they have been reports in the Turkish press that the club could cut his temporary stay short.
The Ghanaian international has been unhappy with his lack of playing time at Arsenal this season, and Galatasaray is hoping to capitalize on the situation by bringing him in on a loan deal.
Partey is a highly rated midfielder who is known for his strength, stamina, and passing ability. He would be a valuable addition to Galatasaray’s squad, which is already one of the strongest in Turkey.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be willing to loan out Partey in January but Galatasaray is certainly determined to bring him in.
